"But we know that it will be the first time for a lot of people, and the masks should help nervous people feel a lot more at ease. It'll add quite a nice element of sexy intrigue and means guests can express themselves more confidently."
"The 'lock and key' idea is a great way for people to approach one another to see if they match up and they have the added incentive of winning a prize if a guy manages to unlock his girl."
Polyakov has high hopes for the party and is keen to make it a regular event for party people with a naughty side in Britain.
"I am hugely excited that we are hosting such a unique event, and really look forward to seeing our guests' reaction to some of the treats that we have in store for them," he added.
Die Another Day's Jinx voted sexiest ever Bond girl.
Older characters beat young rivals in online dating poll.
Halle Berry's "Jinx", the feisty National Security Agency operative in Die Another Day known for the scene in which she walks out of a crystal clear sea in a jaw-dropping orange bikini, has been voted the sexiest ever Bond girl in a poll by online dating site BeNaughty.com.
The survey, conducted to celebrate the release of the new James Bond adventure Quantum of Solace, saw nearly nine out 10 people vote for Halle Berry's character, with traditional favourites Ursula Andress (Honey Rider) and Honor Blackman (Pussy Galore) also proving popular with voters.
The BeNaughty Sexiest Bond Girl Ever poll
| Halle Berry (Jinx) Die Another Day (2002) | 88% |
| Ursula Andress (Honey Rider) Dr No (1962) | 71% |
| Honor Blackman (Pussy Galore) Goldfinger (1964) | 67% |
| Sophie Marceau (Elektra King) The World Is Not Enough (1999) | 66% |
| Talisa Soto (Lupe Lamora) License To Kill (1989) | 61% |
| Claudine Auger (Domino Durval) Thunderball (1965) | 54% |
| Jane Seymour (Solitaire) Live and Let Die (1973) | 51% |
| Famke Janssen (Xenia Onatopp) Goldeneye (1995) | 49% |
| Teri Hatcher (Paris Carver) Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) | 48% |
| Eva Green (Vesper Lind) Casino Royale (2006) | 42% |
'Classic' Bond girls still popular
Although Jinx got the most votes, the classic 60s Bond girls have proved their sexiness has stood the test of time.
Honey Rider, played by Ursula Andress in the 1962 movie Dr No, is still seen as sexy today and in fact pioneered the seductive bikini look emulated by Halle Berry's Jinx character 40 years later.
Max Polyakov, who runs BeNaughty.com, said: "James Bond movies wouldn't be half as exciting or fascinating to watch were it not for the girls. Bond's macho bravado is equaled by the stunning girls he meets on every adventure."
"In some ways, Bond films represent what people desire in life - tough, charming men and beautiful, mysterious women."
"Honey Rider and Pussy Galore have long been objects of fantasy and desire and are as much now as they have ever been. In that sense, it is not really surprising that these characters are equally as popular as those from the newer films - the Bond girls really are timeless and appeal to all generations."
Two-thirds think Democrats would be better in bed
The public has cast its votes and the Democrats have come out on top as the clear winner in the US sex elections at least.
A survey has found that people think Democrats are sexier and likely to be better in bed than their Republican rivals.
And Barack Obama has emerged as the victor over John McCain, with 72% saying he was sexier than the 71-year-old Republican.
Even recent kinky scandals surrounding Sarah Palin - McCain's running mate - are unlikely to make the Grand Old Party any more attractive.
In fact, two in five (39%) said they thought Republicans would be boring in bed - compared to fewer than one in 10 (9%) who thought Democrats would be boring.
Two in three (67%) said they thought Democrats would be better between the sheets but just one in 10 (11%) said the same of Republicans.
The survey was carried out through BeNaughty.com, the online dating website operated by UK-based EasyDate Limited.
History favours Democrats
The Democratic Party has long had an amorous history, mainly thanks to the 'sexploits' of leaders like John F Kennedy and Bill Clinton.
But Republicans have had their fair share of naughty liaisons - notable figures like Rudy Giuliani, Newt Gingrich and Arnold Schwarzenegger have all allegedly been involved in sexual misconduct.
Perception of youth
Max Polyakov, chief operating officer of EasyDate Ltd, believes that the results reflect the fact that the Democrats are seen by many Americans as a younger and more vibrant party.
"When you compare Democratic and Republican politicians, there is no doubt that there is generally an age gap - you only need to compare Barack Obama and John McCain to see that."
"Youth is unquestionably seen as sexier by most people, and this goes some way to explaining the fact that even though the Republicans are as sexually prolific, this is not a perception shared by many Americans."
"Even though people like Newt Gingrich and Rudy Giuliani may have tempestuous sexual backgrounds, they do not compare to figures like Clinton and Kennedy who were younger, perceived as having more vitality and therefore more believable as objects of sexual desire."
Sexy politics
Max Polyakov also believes that the political beliefs of the two parties also play a key role in the way the two groups are sexually perceived.
"The Republicans are generally seen as more strict, uptight and firm-handed than the Democrats. These are not particularly sexy traits. The Democrats in contrast appear more 'human' and caring, very much the characteristics that you would associate with sexual desire."
Thousands of would-be online suitors have contacted Madonna and Guy Ritchie to help them find new love as they face their upcoming divorce battle.
A profile for each has been posted, free of charge, by dating website www.datetheuk.co.uk and has attracted phenomenal interest.
DateTheUK boss Max Polyakov said, "Amazingly, Guy is attracting the most interest at the moment. Maybe it's because Madonna might appear to be something of a handful. She's known to be quite fussy with who she dates."
"I really feel for them at the moment," said Max. "Divorce is a messy business, but we find the sooner you get back into the dating game, the easier things become."
"We want to be there to help them through this and think that they should get out there and play the field for a while until they each find a new love in their lives."
Beat the credit crunch with SpeedDater's special event.
Londoners need to remember what's important in life says speed-dating company.
To help single Londoners who are looking for love and trying to forget the woes of the financial crisis, the UK's biggest speed-dating company has announced plans to host a special "credit crunch" dating event in the capital on 7 November.
SpeedDater will sell tickets online at www.speeddater.co.uk for just £9.95 tickets are normally around £20 and up to £40 depending on the event - and a very limited number of 70 credit crunch tickets will be available for London's singles aged between 24 and 38.
Free drinks giveaways will also be offered at the event, being held at Sound in Leicester Square.
SpeedDater boss Max Polyakov said: "Even though the credit crunch is making things difficult for people, we think it's more important to make love than make money."
Credit crunch prompts more Brits to look for love
Both SpeedDater and parent company EasyDate have seen an increase in guests/site users since the credit crunch began, with growth of 26% and 31% respectively over the last 12 months.
Max Polyakov believes that this increase is down to Brits seeking comfort in relationships as their money worries increase.
"Speed-dating and online dating offer fantastic and cost-effective ways to meet people, and are far more accessible that going to pubs and clubs in the hope of finding a partner", says Max
"Financial hardships can be very lonely experiences, so it is not surprising that more people are looking for love as the credit crunch worsens."
"We think this special event will inspire Londoners to realise what's important and find that 'special someone' rather than worrying about their finances."
For those not able to get tickets, SpeedDater will be running some 30 other dating events across London in the run-up to Christmas, including wine tasting and bowling, specialist events for graduate professionals and elite earners earning over £40,000, along with their November and December parties.
British men and women flirt online with members of the same sex.
As many as one in six British men and women who have used a dating website to meet members of the opposite sex say they have secretly flirted with someone of the same sex while using online, according to a study by flirty dating website BeNaughty.com.
It has found that, among those who use dating websites, 13% of men and 20% of women surveyed admitted they had sent a cheeky message to someone of the same sex on at least one occasion.
But when asked about their sexual orientation, they claimed to be straight.
"Online dating has opened up a world of opportunities for people," said Max Polyakov, who runs BeNaughty.com.
"Men and women are free to experiment a little more, test the water or have a little fun by flirting with people of their own sex, even if they say theyre straight."
"The internet has broken down barriers and people are not so afraid of their own sexuality. Dating websites and adult chatrooms allow people to explore their feelings and by flirting with members of their own sex they can have a bit more fun and, at the same time, get to know what they like or dont like."
BeNaughty.com and DatetheUK.com discover the sexiest professions
The successful websites BeNaughty.com and DatetheUK.com have revealed the results of a survey to find out what profession is the best in bed. Lawyers and musicians are on the lead.

Brokers are the City's 'sexperts', performing better in bed than lawyers, analysts and accountants, according to a flirty dating website used regularly by City high-flyers.
BeNaughty.com has found that brokers dedicate more time to spine-tingling foreplay, are more adventurous often adding toys and different positions to their sex sessions are more likely to satisfy their partners and have sex more often than other City workers.
Male and female brokers gave each other the top ratings as the City's best lovers, but female lawyers came in a close second behind brokers.
Male analysts lagged way behind brokers, letting themselves down with poor foreplay, while female analysts were not getting anywhere near as much sex as they desired.
Male accountants get a raw deal, having been exposed as the least adventurous and least satisfying in bed, according to their sexual partners.
Max Polyakov, who runs BeNaughty.com, said: "Who would have thought brokers are the City's best lovers? What a fascinating result. It's often said that power, money and sex go hand in hand and it looks like brokers are proving the link. These men and women appear to display a bold sexual confidence that goes with the risk-taking element of their jobs."
"Poor old accountants though. They spend all day at work paying a huge amount of attention to detail but it seems to have stifled their sexual creativity."

Singles turn to online dating as economic downturn bites harder.
Single Brits looking for new ways to tighten their belts as food and drink prices continue to rise are turning to dating websites in an attempt to save cash on expensive nights out, according to DatetheUK.com.
More than half (55%) of DateTheUK's new members said they had signed up to online dating because the places where they would normally meet people - bars, pubs and clubs - were becoming too costly.
They also said they would rather find someone special online and commit money to that one person rather than spend the cash on a string of dates that lead nowhere.
While people cut their social spending and bars, pubs and clubs close down at a rate of four a day due to spiraling costs, at the other end of the scale the 'love economy' is booming, according to Max Polyakov, chief operating officer of EasyDate Ltd, the UK's largest online dating company which runs DatetheUK.com.
EasyDate has seen its total membership base grow by an average of 10% a month in the past year.
"The global credit crunch and rising prices have made going out to meet a potential mate an expensive way to end up going home alone, and young people are clearly beginning to recognise this," said Max.
"The cost of going out to a bar, pub or club on the off-chance that you might meet someone is now extremely high. Online dating is cheaper, loads of fun and you stand a much greater chance of meeting a compatible mate."
"The effects of the credit crunch mean that UK singles are getting smarter with the way they look for love by finding more cost-effective ways to date, and the internet provides a practical solution."
The cost of dating
The British public currently spends £8 billion a year on dating, with the average cost of a date from preparation to the actual event costing an estimated £200.
Max Polyakov believes online dating has become more popular as singles look to meet potential partners without racking up the expenses that come with going out to find a partner.
"Dating costs money. There is a need to make a great first impression, and as such the preparation can have as big a financial impact as the date itself," said Max Polyakov.
"And this is not a one-off cost; it takes a number of dates to build a relationship with a potential partner, all of which add up to one big bill."
"Online dating simplifies the process, makes it possible for people to meet like-minded potential partners and establish relationships without the cost of dinner dates and so on."
"So it greatly cuts the expense of dating and allows people to get to know each other within a comfortable, safe and cheap or cost-free environment, making contact and building a rapport with others before that initial face-to-face meeting."
Major survey finds insecure 30-somethings and vast regional differences.
The rapid growth in the number of dating and social networking sites has created a new phenomenon of 'virtual trust' among people in the UK, which actually helps them develop relationships in the 'real' world more easily, according to a study by online dating company DateTheUK.com to be published this week.
The study of more than 2,000 dating website users has found that people are increasingly turning to the internet in order to build friendships on which romance may blossom believing that the internet, more than 'live' social environments like pubs, clubs or at work, will enable them to meet similar personalities and people they can trust.
The phenomenon has been most clearly identified in men under the age of 35 and women aged 35 to 44 who say they find it easier to build trust with strangers they meet online and use the internet to seek a lasting relationship.
The concept of 'virtual trust' was identified when looking at responses from people who said they were more likely to develop trust with someone online before taking the step to meet them in person.
Intellectual relationships
DateTheUK's relationship experts say dating websites and chatrooms allow users to develop relationships based more on personality and intellect than on initial physical attraction, relieving many of the social pressures associated with first-time meetings in places like pubs or clubs.
The study also observes that trust between people takes time to establish but can be lost in a heartbeat and some people believe that building trust in an online relationship provides a strong foundation for that relationship to last in a 'real' environment.
Building virtual trust
People who establish a relationship online and build up a level of 'virtual trust' with a potential mate or someone they regard as a partner in all but the physical manner feel more confident that the relationship will last when it moves from the online environment into the real world.
This is most apparent in women aged 35 to 44 who may have been in relationships where trust has been damaged and in men under 35 who may be seeking to settle down but want to make sure they find the right mate.
Sean Wood, online marketing manager for DateTheUK.com, said, "The exponential growth in the popularity of social networking websites and chatrooms is the result of people looking for simplicity and structure in how they conduct their relationships, certainly in the initial phase."
"Before the internet was invented people often had pen pals and would write letters every other week, and you might send a photo if you were feeling brave. Now, the internet allows people to develop stronger intellectual relationships over time, based on shared interests and opinions, before meeting someone in the flesh.
"As the friendship or relationship develops and 'virtual trust' is established between two people, they may start communicating on a more intimate level with webcams and video calls. It's a bit like taking that brave step to send a photo to a pen pal."
"For some people, making friends and seeking a potential partner can be a difficult and intimidating process. The internet has created a much more stable and controlled environment in which to meet others, slowly establishing a form of ivrtual trust' which can eventually be extended to outside world and on which friendship, and potentially romance, can blossom."
The UK's trust 'not-spots'
Across the UK, the study has found that dating website users in Wales appear to be most cautious about building relationships and said they felt more likely to build a lasting, trusting relationship with someone they met online than with someone they might meet elsewhere, followed by those in the North West and the South East.
By contrast, only one in 10 Scottish dating website users believed they would develop a long-term, trusting relationship with someone they met online.
More than one in four Brits have used an online chat-room or dating website to line up a holiday love-making session, according to flirty dating website BeNaughty.com.
Summer sun and sex seekers tend to go online several days before their holiday to search for and flirt with potential conquests and then arrange to meet up while on holiday.
BeNaughty.com asked 2,000 of its members whether they had ever used a chat-room or dating website to book their holiday sex and the results were breathtaking.
Nearly one in three men and almost a quarter of women polled said they had used the web to set up a holiday sex encounter.
People aged 25 to 34 and those from the north east of England are the sauciest and most likely to have gone online to book their conquest.
Exciting anticipation Max Polyakov, the web technology entrepreneur who operates BeNaughty.com, said: "Flirting with someone online before you go on holiday gives an exciting sense of foreplay and anticipation before you actually meet them in the flesh. People exchange a few sexy emails, some naughty pictures perhaps, and then chemistry takes its course."
"The internet has added a whole new dimension to the way people meet, and it's much less embarrassing and probably a whole lot safer than a drunken encounter in a sweaty nightclub."

Top five holiday sex destinations for Brits
BeNaughty.com survey exposes Brits' top fibs.
The number one thing we lie about in the UK is our own personal level of debt, according to a new national survey into our biggest fibs.
The Truth Be Told survey, commissioned by online dating site benaughty.com, revealed that nearly a third (29%) of the 1,028 people between 16 and 64 that were interviewed said they lied about how much money they owe.
Running a close second (28%) of the things people lied most about was how much we drink and smoke.
And third in the benaughty.com survey, with just under a quarter of votes (24%), were lies about how much we weigh.
Number of sexual partners comes fourth in the list (14%) while a persons age is fifth (13%) in the list of lies.
Surprisingly, the thing both men and women lied about least was the size of their breasts/penis.
Men versus Women who are the biggest liars?
While just one in seven men lie about their weight, the figure leaps to more than one in three women.
The benaughty.com survey also reveals women lie slightly more than men when it comes to debt (30% compared to 28%), and are similar when lying about their smoking and drinking habits (28% and 27%).
Averil Leimon, psychologist at leadership coaching firm White Water Strategies, said: "It's no surprise that people are pressured to lie in order to make themselves appear more impressive.
"In today's society and in business, people are measured by whether they conform to certain ideals, be they physical attributes, personal wealth, professional standing or background and status.
As such, people often feel it necessary to present a more idealized version of who they are in order to appear more attractive, more professional and generally create a positive impression.
Max Polyakov, EasyDate Ltd chief executive officer, said: "I admit I was surprised by the results of our survey because to be honest I expected most people to say they lied about their age or their educational qualifications.
"People must feel pretty ashamed of their financial situation or how much they drink or smoke if they feel the need to lie about it. These are really important things and honesty between people is really very important for relationships to survive and develop."
BeNaughty www.benaughty.com will offer its website users the opportunity to compare themselves against the survey results, to see how they compare with the various national and regional trends.

EasyDate complements its portfolio of services for singles in the UK and Europe through the recent acquisition of SpeedDater.
EasyDate complements its portfolio of services for singles in the UK and Europe through the recent acquisition of SpeedDater.
Two companies whose mission it is to bring lovers together and forge long term relationships have today forged a very different bond.
Edinburgh based EasyDate Ltd. and the UK's largest Speed Dating company, SpeedDater Ltd. have today merged to create one of the country's largest and most prominent dating companies.
The acquisition of Speed Dater by EasyDate was the result of a lengthy one year courtship and was completed on 7th March 2008. It can be said that some fools rush in but EasyDate has certainly made sure this marriage is not a spur of the moment one, but a decision based on a serious intention to make this brand grow stronger.
In a time of acquisitions and mergers it is not surprising to see successful players engage in marriage-like relationships, however, it requires a good eye to spot the right partner and we can assume these dating companies did not exactly use postcode based search to find each other.
Simon Prockter and Ben Tisdall, have now become directors at the newly formed offshoot company, SpeedBreaks Ltd and will focus their efforts on growing their successful travel business, Speed Breaks. They are expecting a promising future ahead of them. EasyDate will continue to work with the newly formed SpeedBreaks company over a two year period as part of a strategic alliance.
"We believe the Speed Dater brand is in very good hands, leaving us to forge ahead with growing our SpeedBreaks travel business" said Simon Prockter, SpeedBreaks Director.
Ben Tisdall, who set the original company up with Simon added: "This is a good opportunity for us as we now have the resources necessary to take our SpeedBreaks business to another level, leaving the Speed Dating events and online business in the hands of one of the most promising dating companies in the UK".
The directors of EasyDate Ltd have been courting a number of dating companies over the past two years, but until now had not found their perfect partner, a partner with the right mix of brand and individuality. "SpeedDater are a perfect fit for us", said Sean Wood, Marketing Manager at EasyDate Ltd. "As an extension to our product portfolio the events business is of particular interest as it gives us a whole new range of services to provide to our existing customer base".
Max Polyakov, EasyDate CEO added: "This marriage of convenience is a clear demonstration of where the dating industry is going and how the key players are positioning themselves. The larger companies are expanding through acquisition and forging strategic partnerships, whilst other companies are recognizing synergy with other vertical markets and focusing their efforts there."
A marriage can sometimes be like a rollercoaster but those who chose the right partners will definitely enjoy the ride. To the success of these committed dating companies!
The finer details of the deal are not being disclosed. But essentially the Speed Dating Events and Online business is now under the full ownership of EasyDate Ltd and the ex-directors of SpeedDater Ltd. are now concentrating on their travel business under the Speed Breaks name.

The day should be about being pro-active, about finding the right person at one's own pace, after all, it is us who really are in control of our own life.
Sean Wood, Online Maketing Manager at EasyDate, commented: "Valentines Day, for us, is an opportunity to make things easier for singles who are actively looking for a partner. Finding a date using an online dating site does not carry the stigma it used to have and singles have realised that sites such as DatetheUK and YouCanGetMe can be the perfect way to search for their other half. We are delighted we can help."
It is human nature to look for a partner, but our busy lifestyles may be preventing us from finding the right one, the lack of spare time certainly does not help. However, if there is something we all know is that the internet can find us pretty much anything these days; clothes, flowers, wine, holidays, insurance and the list is endless. It is then a fantastic tool for finding things we need for everyday life or for more sentimental reasons like finding 'the one'.
A dating site can save time and provide a secure environment to meet others, singles can make the most of today's technology to find their soulmate and even find a date before Valentines Day!

Online Marketing Manager at EasyDate, Sean Wood, said: “We anticipated consumer demand and had been working hard for several months to build a new kind of dating website. We could see that a good percentage of members of our dating platforms would soon be looking for a place with the characteristics and functionality of sites such as MySpace, Facebook and Bebo, but without the seriousness of dating sites which encourage long-term relationships. www.benaughty.com is now live, giving singles the opportunity to chat, flirt and meet like-minded people under a safe, relaxed and community-like environment”.
All visitors can join EasyDate’s new website for free. The free registration allows members to search dating profiles immediately after sign-up. EasyDate is offering an alternative white label dating service to ensure clients can generate revenue without entering the premium rate arena.
EasyDate is offering an alternative white label dating service to ensure clients can generate revenue without entering the premium rate arena.
A recently published Panorama report highlighted the risks involved in premium rate phone services for consumers and the effects are now being felt by the dating industry. Companies who setup white labeled dating sites which featured premium rate services as the main revenue generators have found themselves caught in a less than favourable position.
A white label dating provider enables companies to have their own dating sites in their own domains and promote them under their own branding. EasyDate has brought to the dating market a white label service with a solid commercial model, a solution which does not rely on premium rate revenue.
Before the increase in popularity of social networking and community sites, www.easydate.biz realised where the dating market was heading and developed a plan to integrate new features to its white label dating solution. The company completed the integration stage and the service now includes user generated content tools, web 2.0 features, instant messaging, audio-video chats and mobile dating.
A wide variety of website owners have added dating services to their portfolios to widen their audience, generate additional revenues and offer fresh content to their customers. Newspapers, media groups, magazine publishers and mobile networks are amongst them.
Some of these dating sites used to generate revenue through the premium rate model, making their customers pay an inflated rate for actions such as retrieving a recorded message from an answering machine; however, online consumers now understand the implications of such services and have turned their eyes towards the dating services they trust.
EasyDate has been in the dating scene since 2002 and it is now a leading dating provider for both consumers and white label clients. They have made sure their white label dating service includes all the dating features that today's internet users expect. At the same time, it has created a solution which has proved financially viable for clients in the long-term.
The company's business partners can enjoy the benefits of working with a market leader who has the vision to develop services which will meet the needs of the new digital consumer and the ability to generate additional revenue streams.
Outstanding in-house technical resources, full flexibility and client support throughout the lifetime of the contract also make www.easydate.biz a white label partner who delivers during the early and mature stages of the partnership. Their solution is difficult to resist when above all, guarantees partners 100% dating revenue.
EasyDate definitely has the key strengths that breed long-lasting and profitable online business relationships. The company's white label dating solution will stand the test of time.
Sean Wood, Marketing Manager at EasyDate said: "We have built our business model around a reliable paid subscription service and have deliberately avoided the Premium rate telephone interaction method as a primary revenue source. In the early stages of setting up our white label dating package we identified risks involved with offering the Premium rate services, mostly in relation to potential changes in regulations and the much lower revenue share we could offer to potential partners. Instead our subscription service which is paid by credit or debit card is the main revenue stream and on balance offers a more secure income for our clients.
Premium rate telephone services are then offered to members as a secondary revenue stream and this has proven to be a very successful model.
Another factor in determining the outline of our proposal was to ensure a solid membership growth plan which would benefit our white label partners by giving their users an ever-increasing database of singles and so ensuring loyalty and return visits."

Sean Wood, Online Marketing Manager at EasyDate, commented: “We called an internal meeting to decide whether women should pay or not for their memberships and after much deliberation we concluded that most women will spend money on new clothes, a bag, shoes and accessories when going on a date, so it’s only fair to offer them totally free dating!”

It also gives you a fantastic opportunity to carry out some essential housekeeping and incorporate some great new features or ideas."
The popularity of YouCanGetMe amongst the young online dating audience has increased during the past year and EasyDate wanted to reflect this in the visual identity of the new site. The site was the first audio-video dating site in the UK to offer singles the opportunity to meet their dates using the cutting-edge SeeMe, HearMe, MeetMe technology, which enables singles to see and hear each other before arranging to meet in person.
The audio-video chats have been gradually incorporated to each one of the online dating sites within the company portfolio.

One of the most progressive internet dating sites in the UK has announced yet another new solution to its members with the launch of their totally mobile dating site which can be accessed from any wap-enabled mobile phone.
The new mobile dating site, which can be seen by keying www.youcangetme.com into your mobile phone browser, is linked to the internet dating web site, and can therefore be used by existing members who will simply login using their current details.

The interface at YouCanGetMe.com's mobile dating site is simple, fast and effective. Speed has been taken into account when developing the interface as it was crucial that a user's normal internet experience was not compromised when using the dating service on a mobile device where they do not have the benefit of a broadband connection.
YouCanGetMe’s move into WAP is supported by the Mobi-Date software platform, developed by IDE Mobile. Peter Ellen, Managing Director of parent company IDE Group, says “We have several years experience in web based community solutions so the logical move was to apply this expertise in mobile. We were delighted that YouCanGetMe selected our Mobi-date platform for their launch. We have a number of exciting new features coming to market this autumn. The age of the mobile community is upon us and, with the ubiquity of WAP enabled handsets, they could soon surpass web blogging and forums as means of social networking.”
Sean Wood, Marketing Manager at EasyDate Ltd, the parent company of YouCanGetMe.com said "Our objective was to replicate the experience that our members and guests have when using our internet dating site and we feel we have achieved this and more. Through our partnership with IDE Mobile we have integrated a stunning feature for our members which will give them yet another way to meet people at their own pace and in their own geographic location.”

Internet use is growing at a phenomonal rate in the Russian states and opening up new communication channels with the western world. This had lead to an increase in the number of Russian men and women looking for partners in the UK, and EasyDate Ltd. have recognised this and set their place at the Russian Online Dating Dinner table.
The launch of moyideal.ru this month was met with enthusiasm as an aggressive marketing campaign led to many thousands of single Russians joining in the first few days.

A new innovative feature available to online daters which been launched initially on youcangetme.com gives members the opportunity to take a photo of themselves using their mobile camera phone, send it to a specified number via MMS and it will automatically be included in their www.youcangetme.com [online dating] profile. The new service was rolled out on youcangetme.com this month and has proven to be a great success amongst the young, tech savvy members of the site.
Sean Wood, Marketing Manager at Easydate ltd, said "We realised by the number of photos we received in the post that not all our members had access to a scanner or a digital camera, so we looked at options that would give them the easiest possible method of completing their profile and increasing their chances of finding a date online. It occured to us that most mobile phones had integrated cameras so this was definitely the way to go. Our initial trials have proven very successful so we are now implementing this technology across our network of sites."
The MMS upload feature is very easy to use and fits in perfectly with our technologically aware membership. We are a nation of gadget lovers, using our mobile phones in many different ways other than simply making phone calls. This is a sign of the times ahead for online dating and of the need for online www.youcangetme.com [dating sites] to adapt to the changing lifestyles of its members.
The MMS photo upload service is just one in a line of many new dating features to be introduced by this dynamic company. YouCanGetMe.com was amongst the first to offer fully interactive audio video online dating and earlier this year introduced SMS text flirting services to its members.
With the usual dynamic flair, EasyDate Ltd. have introduced some of the most impressive technologies to its portfolio of dating sites. With the usual dynamic flair, EasyDate Ltd. have introduced some of the most impressive technologies to its portfolio of dating sites. The introduction of Audio Video chat to MyUKDate and DatetheUK now gives the entire portfolio of sites a stunning set of features that really do set them aside from the rest.
Members of the sites have embraced the new features with the vigour that was expected and the dating sites' servers strained at the seams while uptake of the audio video dating features was high in demand after a launch to the existing members.
The AV dating function is seen as an added security feature on the site as well as a way of enhancing the member's online dating experience. By allowing users of the site to see and hear the potential date before actually meeting up with them, they have the added security that the person is who he/she says and that the photo matches their actual appearance.
It is expected that a large number of users will enjoy the security that such features offer, but furthermore will see the new service as a way of having a 'virtual date' saving them the time and expense of meeting 'offline' and risking disappointment.
